I risultati economici 2011 – 2012 – 2013

I servizi post vendita

FLOATING LIFE Group presents the Charter & Broker division

Floating Life International – the Swiss group specialized in the management, charter, sales and fractional ownership of super- and mega-yachts – is proud to present a new division to the world super-yacht market – the Charter & Broker Division.

This company – part of the Swiss Group – is presently active in the management of the super and mega-yacht fleet in addition to the commercial development and brokering of a uniquely styled fleet of vessels. The company is also responsible for charter management with YachtPlus, a leading worldwide brand handling super-yacht fractional ownership, while Floating Life, mangers of the fleet of three 41 meter long sister ships, is responsible for coordinating charter activity.

Floating Life Charter & Broker is lead by Filippo Rossi and Laura Polotto.

Rossi, the 42 year old Managing Director of the C&B Floating Life Division, is a yacht designer and architect. He came to Floating Life in 2009, and has been a partner since 2010. Previously he worked for Dalla Pietà Yacht as their in-house interior designer. At Floating Life Rossi began working on the development of several custom yacht projects (a 62 meter for Icon Yachts, the exterior design of the 64 meter ISA, and a 72′ Amer), to then become brand manager in 2010 with a brief to strengthen the Floating Life Holding brand at both the national and international level. “The market for Floating Life, since January 2011 is definitely more active than the year before”, remarks Rossi, “although connected to a specific type of vessel and to policy price reductions. For our Division, the 24 to 30 meter motor-yachts made after the year 2000 are today’s most popular models, especially if sailing in the western Mediterranean. The average client is not disturbed by yachts that have an average life of six to eight years. Everyone is looking for the so-called “deal”, but this often doesn’t get them anywhere, and has the only effect of increasing the time needed to close a deal. Yachts that have a strong brand will in any case maintain their value in the market.”

Laura Polotto is the Charter&Marketing Manager. The 30 year old Polotti, with a degree in Marketing and Company Management from Ca’ Foscari in Venice, from 2007 to 2009 worked in the foreign marketing area of Dalla Pietà Yachts. She began to work with Floating Life in September 2009 as Charter Manager for Floating Life International. In 2010, when the Company grew and became a Group, Polotti became responsible for the world-wide Charter sector with a fleet of over 20 yachts. “So far 2011 for Floating Life C&B confirms the trend to charter larger yachts, always over 35 to 40 meters in length, which represents 50% of total requests received from our new born division.” In addition, “we must not forget that Ocean Emerald, Ocean Pearl, and Ocean Sapphire, the three Yacht Plus, Foster & Partners designs, are highly requested by Arabs and Russians. Their favorite destinations have been Venice, the Croatian Adriatic and Turkey, while for Italy the most requested areas are the Eolian Islands. South-eastern Sicily and the Amalfi Coast, with the classic Italian and Central European clients.
